Rodent Control
Mice
Mice can get through a gap the size off a pencil; like rats, they are a gnawing pest that can damage property and goods as well as spreading disease. If left unchecked, they can multiply rapidly.
Rats
Rats will enter the home through gaps in walls and broken drains; Rats have long been considered deadly pests, invasive, and damaging to property and goods. They can gnaw on wires and pipework, they spread disease and are typically nocturnal and hard to spot, until too late.
Grey Squirrels
Our native red squirrel is protected and in rapid decline. Their decline is linked primarily to a disease carried by grey squirrels.
Grey squirrels are a common nuisance for homeowners, because they inhabit attics and garages and cause damage. They are known to gnaw on the exterior and interior walls, timbers, cables and electric wiring. They have been known to short out electric power transformers due to their activities around power lines. The chilly months of autumn and winter cause squirrels to seek the warmth that is found in attics.
